GENERAL HOTEL RULES
FOR APARTHOTEL VERTICAL

1. Terms and Conditions defined in these rules:
- Hotel services – the full range of services providing temporary residence in aparthotel Vertical, including related services, listed by the Executive Board;
- Price per room (room price) – the cost of temporary residence and other related services, listed by the Executive Board;
- Aparthotel Vertical – the property complex (building, part of the building, equipment and other property) providing hotel services (hereafter – hotel);
- Consumer – a citizen intending to order or purchase (or placing an order, purchasing) and (or) using hotel services for individual and other purposes, not related to entrepreneurial activities (hereafter – guest);
- Customer – natural person, legal person, intending to order or purchase, or placing an order, purchasing hotel services according to the agreement (hereafter – agreement) on behalf of the guest;
- Contractor – Managing company Becar Ltd., providing guest with hotel services (hereafter – aparthotel Vertical);

- Booking – room and (or) rooms reservation in aparthotel Vertical performed by customer (guest);
- Checkout time – period for arrival and departure of the guest set by the Contractor.
2. Subject of Services
2.1 Aparthotel Vertical performs services providing hotel rooms (rooms) for temporary residence of Guests in due time and on the terms approved by the Hotel administration, according to the present Rules.
2.2 Guest/Customer undertakes an obligation on complying with terms, listed in the present Rules.
2.3. Booking conditions
Following booking options may be applied by the Contractor in the Hotel:
a) guaranteed booking – booking option in which the Hotel expects Guest before the checkout time on the day following after the day of the scheduled arrival. In case of late cancellation of the booking, arrival or no-show of the Guest, the fare according to the Table 1 is charged. The guaranteed booking is cancelled in case of arrival delay more than for a day.
b) non-guaranteed booking – booking option in which the Hotel expects Guest on the day of arrival before the specific hour set by the Contactor. In case of no-show the booking is cancelled.
Booking shall be regarded as valid after the Guest (Customer) received notification, containing the information about designation (corporate name) of the Contractor, Customer (Guest), type (category) of the reserved room and its’ price, booking conditions, time of residence in the Hotel, as well as other information determined by the Contractor.

The Contractor reserves the right to reject the booking in case of the lack of the available rooms on the date of the request.
3. Accommodation conditions
3.1 Information concerning the room provided to the Guest, price of the Hotel room (room), time of residence, the number of residents and other accommodation conditions are defined by the parties when filling the registration card.
3.2 Guest reserves the right to settle in immediately after filling the registration card and making the payment for Hotel services, other paid services.
3.3. Guest can settle in after 14:00 on the day of arrival (local time). In case of early arrival, following fare is charged: for settling in after 6:00 before the checkout time (14:00 on local time), the payment at the rate of 50% of the day cost will be charged, for settling in before 6:00, the payment at the rate of 100% of the day cost will be charged.
3.4. The room may be available and accessible for Guest until 12:00 (local time) on the day of departure. In case of late departure after the checkout time (12:00 on the day of departure on local time), following fare is charged: for departure after 12:01 till 18:00, the payment at the rate of 50% of the day cost will be charged, for departure after 18:00, the payment at the rate of 100% of the day cost will be charged.
3.5. When filling the registration card, Guest receives number of keys to the hotel room, defined by the parties.
3.6. All the keys to the hotel rooms, received by Guest, must be returned to the administrator of the Hotel at the departure, when the residence time in the Hotel is over.
3.7. The registration of Guests, who are citizens of Russian Federation, is performed at their place of residence and according to the Rules of registration and removal of Russian Federation citizens from the registry according to place of stay and place of residence within the borders of the Russian Federation. Government Decree No. 713 of 17 July 1995 on the adoption of regulations for the registration of Russian citizens and their removal from the register of their place of stay or place of residence within the boundaries of the Russian Federation and the list of officials responsible for registration.
The registration of minor citizens under 14 years old in the Hotel is performed on the basis of the document confirming identification of the parents (adopters, tutors) or close relatives, travelling together, travelling companion (companions), document, certifying the powers of travelling companion (companions), as well as birth certificates of minor citizens.
Settling in the Hotel of minor citizens between 14 and 18 years of age if there is no such accompanying person (persons) as parents, adopters, tutors, close relatives, the credentials of whom must be certified in due form in accordance with the private law of the country of arbitration, is performed only on basis of the notarized agreement of parents/legal representatives and the document, certifying identification of the minor citizen (birth certificates of minor citizen).
A foreign citizen’s and stateless person’s registration at their place of residence in the Hotel and removal of the register of their place of stay or place of residence is performed according to the Rules of the Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation. Government Decree No. 9 of 15 January 2007 on the Rules of the Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation.
3.8. Upon the residence time in the Hotel is over, the Hotel room must be left without Guests’ belongings and in the appropriate state, allowing to use the room for the intended purposes at the same day.
4. Order of payment
4.1 The payment for Hotel services and other paid services must be made by Guest when filling the Registration card.
4.2. Guest has a right to choose preferable payment method: in cash, by credit card, or via bank transfer.
4.3. Aparthotel Vertical issues a cash voucher or a payment document in an official standard form after settlement of the transactions with Guest of the Hotel.
4.4. Transactions with Customer via bank transfer are performed under the terms of an agreement.
4.5. Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to request the Guest to make a payment or to freeze the sum of at most 15 000 rubles on the Guests’ credit card in order to cover the security deposit while booking the room, settling in, as well as during the whole period of residence in the Hotel to secure the performance of Guests’ obligations, including the Hotels’ right to demand compensation for damages.
The security deposit is subjected to be returned to the Guest after departing the Hotel after the Hotel rooms’ inventory check out has been made and/or can be used by the apart-hotel “Vertical” to make a full or part of the payment of the Hotel services and/or other paid services payable by Guest; in case of recalculations (4.6 in the present Rules), as well as to compensate for any damage resulting from Guests’ actions.
4.6. The price of hotel services and other paid services forms according to the Agreement “About price determination in apart-hotel Vertical” (hereafter – Agreement on price determination), presented on the site vertical-hotel.ru in the section “rates for accommodation”, and on the reception in the Hotel.
4.7. In case of early departure of the Guest, reduction of the time of Guests’ residence in the Hotel, noted in the Registration card, apart-hotel “Vertical” performs recalculation of the price for accommodation, defined in the Registration card according to the Agreement on price determination. Herewith the Guest undertakes to make a payment of the price for accommodation according to the introduced recalculation.
5. Guests’ rights and responsibilities
5.1. Registration card is filled by the Guest of the Hotel before settling in the room and getting the keys to the room. Guest must provide credible information on his/her purpose of stay (business trip or other), show identification document formed in accordance with legally established procedures, including:
а) passport of the citizen of Russian Federation, proving the identity of the citizen of Russian Federation on the territory of Russian Federation;
b) passport of the citizen of the USSR; proving the identity of the citizen of Russian Federation before its’ replacement with passport of the citizen of Russian Federation in the prescribed period;
c) birth certificate for persons who have not attained the age of 4;
d) passport proving the identity of the citizen of Russian Federation outside of the Russian Federation for persons with permanent residence outside of the Russian Federation;
e) passport of foreign citizen or other identification document established by the federal law or formed in accordance with internationally established procedures and recognized by Russian Federation as a identification document, identifying a foreign citizen;
f) document issued by foreign country and formed in accordance with internationally established procedures, that is recognized by Russian Federation as identification document, identifying a stateless person;
g) temporary residence permits of stateless person;
h) residence permit of stateless person.
5.2 Guests’ visitors can reside in the Guests’ room until 23:00 and only with the permission of Administration of the apart-hotel “Vertical”, which implies their registration by the Administration of the apart-hotel “Vertical”. Guests’ visitor is obliged to provide identification document (passport or driving license) to the Administration.
5.3 In case of Guest makes a payment for more than 1-month period, Guest is obliged to provide the list and personal data of persons with the right to reside in the Guests’ room when settling in the Hotel.
5.4. An accommodation with pets on the territory of the Hotel is allowed after the prior agreement with the Administration of the apart-hotel “Vertical” only.
5.4.1. Term “pets” includes cats and dogs with the weight of 10 kg max. only.
5.4.2. In case of settling in with pets, Guest is obliged to make a payment for extra cleaning according to the additional services rates in the aparthotel “Vertical”. In case of there is a proof of damage or extra-contamination, Guest is obliged to make an additional payment in order to cover the losses of the apart-hotel “Vertical”.
5.4.3. On the territory of the aparthotel “Vertical” pets must be kept in the collar and on a leash.
5.4.4. Room cleaning is provided in the absence of the pet, or with the pet locked in a cage or closed carrier in the presence of the Guest.
5.4.5. It is prohibited to leave pets on the territory of the aparthotel “Vertical” without supervision.
5.4.6. The Hotel reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the Guest, in case of:
- pet becomes a disturbance for other Hotels’ guests.
- pet acts noisy, aggressive, inadequately.
5.5. For the accommodation of children up to 3 years without providing an extra bed or with providing a baby cot – there is no additional charge. Accommodation of children up to 6 years using existing beds – free of charge. Accommodation of children from the age of 7 years is possible only on a separate bed for extra charge.
5.6. Guest reserves the right to use Hotels’ room for temporary residence only.
5.7. Guest is obliged to care of the Hotels’ property and equipment, to use the Hotels’ property and equipment for its intended purpose only, to keep the room clean and follow the present Rules.
5.8. During one hour after check-in to the room, Guest is entitled to inform the reception administrator about revealed damages of equipment, room integration and interior decoration.
In case of absence this application and detecting damage, loss or breakage of Hotel property by Hotel staff after procedure of check-out, Guest is obliged to compensate the caused damage to the property in accordance with the legislation of Russian Federation. An act of the property damage should be formed in case of damage Hotel property. The monetary amount of the inflicted damage is determined by the prices specified in the approved by the Contractor Price list, in case of absence the damaged property in Price list, the damage shall be compensated in accordance with the market value of the lost/damaged property at the time of damage.
5.9. In order to guarantee personal security, and secure Guests’ belongings when exiting the room, Guest is obliged to:
- close the windows,
- turn off the electric light,
- close the water taps,
- turn off electrical household appliances,
- close the front door with key and to make sure the Room is closed.
5.10. It is prohibited to:
- settle in the Room other persons in Guests’ absence,
- give the keys to the Room to other persons,
- bring and store in the Room cumbersome belongings, flammable materials, as well as bring and store weapons without appropriate permit and authorization,
- use heating devices not included to the Rooms’ configuration,
- invite to the Room unregistered guests in between 23:00 and 08:00,
- perform actions leading to break of the peace and silence of other Hotels’ Clients during the night time in between 22:00 and 08:00,
- use drugs,
- be engaged in criminal activities,
- set any kind of production.
5.11. In accordance with Federal Law № 15-ФЗ of 23.02.2013 “On health care for the population from exposure to tobacco smoke”, it is prohibited to smoke tobacco in the Hotel (usage of tobacco products with the aim of inhalation of smoke, emerging from its’ smoldering (including electronic cigarettes) on the whole territory of the apart-hotel “Vertical”, in all Hotels’ rooms, including Guests’ rooms.
In case of violation of the obligation, the Hotel reserves the right to apply to the law enforcement authority in order to bring administrative charges against Guest/Guests’ visitors.
Smoking in the Room entails the necessity of covering the losses of the Hotel in the form of extra cleaning of the Room (sufficient ventilation, usage of scent absorbers, drapes, textile and washing of other fabrics) at the rate of 5000 (five thousand) rubles.
5.12. Guest is obliged to report about the damage caused to the property in the Hotels’ room, as well as about the emergency situation, which can lead to any kind of caused damage to the stuff of the aparthotel Vertical immediately. In case of it is necessary to take urgent measures in order to prevent caused or possible cause of more serious damage, the notice should be sent to the administrator of the aparthotel Vertical immediately.
6. Rights and obligations of the Aparthotel Vertical
6.1 Aparthotel Vertical undertakes to arrange the possibility to use Hotels’ Room throughout the time period, stated in the Registration card.
6.2. Aparthotel Vertical bears responsibility for offered Room to be in correspondence with the stated description.
6.3. Aparthotel Vertical provides additional equipment and extra services according to the Agreement on price determination.
6.4. In case of it is not possible for Aparthotel Vertical to offer the Room for the required period, the Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to relocate the Guest to the Room with the same level of comfort or higher level with no need of additional expenses from the Guests’/Customers’ side.
6.5. Within the residence period, the personnel of the Aparthotel Vertical reserve the right to notify the Guest of the required information via e-mail or short message service (sms).
6.6. In case of there is lost property and/or documents found in the Hotel after the confirmed residence period expiration, as well as after the departure of the Guest, the personnel of the Hotel notify the Guest of lost property. Hereafter the lost property either is returned to the Guest, or put in the special storage. Storage period of the lost property is 3 months. After the storage period is expired, the lost property is up to be disposed (utilized).
6.7. In case of Guest is absent from the Hotel for more than a day after the confirmed residence period expiration (according to the Guests’ checkout time), the Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to establish a commission in order to inventory Guests’ property located in the Room according to the Act. The personnel of the Hotel notify the Guest of the lost property. Hereafter the lost property, listed in the Act, either is returned to the Guest, or put in the special storage. Storage period of the lost property is 3 months. After the storage period is expired, the lost property is up to be disposed (utilized).
7. Responsibility of the parties
7.1. In case of Guest refuses to settle in the Room during the present day after the Registration card was filled and Hotel services and other services were paid, Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to withhold the fare at the rate of the cost of the Room for one full day from the amount paid by the Guest.
7.2. In case of Guest returns the keys in the lesser amount he/she was given when settling in the Room, Aparthotel Vertical charges the Guest with a fee of the cost of 1 key, which equals to 1000 (one thousand) rubles at minimum.
7.3. In case of Guest violates the agreed terms, listed on the Registration card and in the present Rules, Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to unilaterally terminate services provision of accommodation of the Guest in the Hotel, herewith Guest is obliged to refund Apart-hotel “Vertical” the expenses. Aparthotel Vertical reserves the right to withhold the fare at the rate equaling Hotels’ expenses from the amount paid by the Guest.
7.4. Guest bears responsibility and covers the losses in case of loss or damage caused to the Hotels’ property by Guests’ fault according to the existing laws of the Russian Federation and present Rules.
7.5. The compensation of the inflicted damage is to be paid by the Guest based upon the invoices issued by the Aparthotel Vertical no later than 3 days after the date of departure of the Guest. The size of inflicted damage, Aparthotel Vertical counts on the basis of Act of the property damage by the prices specified in the approved by the Contractor Price list, in case of absence the damaged property in Price list, the damage shall be compensated in accordance with the market value of the lost/damaged property at the time of damage.
7.6. Guest is obliged to compensate Aparthotel Vertical the full monetary amount of the inflicted damage, all breakage, and to take the necessary measures in order to resolve the problems caused by Guests’ fault, deliberately or by negligence, by Guests’ visitors’ or other persons’ fault, residing in the Room, wherefore the property, equipment in the Room, used by the Guest, or the property owned by third Party was damaged.
7.7. Guest is obliged to compensate Aparthotel Vertical for the expenses on cleaning and restoring the property, affected the unusual types of contamination at the prices, listed in the Agreement «About price determination».
8. Final provisions
8.1. Concerning matters not regulated by the present Rules, Parties operate in compliance with existing laws of the Russian Federation.
8.2. In case of disputes, Parties try to resolve situation by negotiations and in case of no consent is found – judicially at the location of the Hotel.
